Dialer Skill Lists Overview

  • This article explains Dialer Skill Lists and provides a step-by-step guide to creating a skill list. Skill lists categorize agents by specific skills, allowing calls to be routed to the most suitable agents. This improves customer experience and enhances call handling efficiency.

Getting Started with Dialer Skill Lists

  • To go to Dialer Skill Lists to your Acefone account, first log in using your unique User ID and Password. Once logged in, you will be directed to the main dashboard. From there, locate the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen and click on "Services" then “Outbound Services”. A set of options opens up. One of these options is the “Dialer Skill Lists".

  • The table displays a list of all Dialer Skill Lists with the following information:
FieldDescription
S no.A serial number is used to uniquely identify or organize each skill list.
NameThe name given to the skill list often indicates the skill category or area of expertise.
DescriptionA brief explanation of what the skill list is used for, such as routing calls based on agent skills.
No. of Skills AvailableThe total number of skills in the list that can be assigned to agents.
AvailabilityIndicates whether the skill list is available for use or assigned to specific lead list.
Action (Edit/Delete/Add Skill)Provides options to edit the skill list, delete it, or add new skills to the list as needed.
  1. Add Skill Lists
  • To add a Dialer Skill List, follow the below steps:
  1. Click on the Services tab on the side navigation.
  2. Click Outbound Services and select Dialer Skill Lists.
  3. A list of all the Dialer Skill Lists appears along with the relevant details.
  4. Click on Add Skill List.

  1. Enter the Name and Description.

  1. Click on Submit.

Once the Dialer Skill List is created, you can add numbers either one by one manually or in bulk. Follow the steps below for each method:


  • To Add Skills in Bulk:
  1. Click on the Skill Name.

  1. Click on Sample File to download a sample file for bulk skill upload.

  1. Open the CSV file and input the Name of the skill.

  1. Save the file and return to the portal.
  2. Click on Upload CSV to upload the skill list.


  • To add skills one by one
  1. Select the created Dialer Skill List.

  1. Click on Add Skill.

  1. Enter the Name of the skill.

  1. Click on Submit.
